Prototype Hubs
Hubs for hexagonal domes typically need to interface to
three structural supports - and three stabilising
components.
The above diagrams illustrate two of the possibilities -
using timber and steel-core clothes line as the primary
structural elements.
The first hub uses a section cut from a PVC drain pipe.
The second hub uses an eye bolt.
