These photographs illustrate a diamond dome.
The design is inspired by the Fuller/Kaiser aluminium domes.
The main innovation here is the scoring pattern, which appears vastly superior to that previously used.
The model also illustrates positioning of the tabs on the exterior surface - mainly in an attempt to help waterproof the dome.
Lastly, a hubless necklace design was used for the struts. This was done in order to construct the model rapidly.
